About Us

The New Mexico Regional Common Ground Alliance (NMRCGA) was established in 2004 as one of 40 regional affiliates of the Common Ground Alliance, an organization formed in 2000 to continue damage prevention efforts embodied in the groundbreaking 1999 Common Ground Study sponsored by the U.S. Department of Transportation.  This study included the collaborative work of 1,690 industry professionals who identified best practices related to damage prevention.

The NMRCGA works to prevent damage to underground infrastructure and facilities
